Baroness Susan Greenfield

Baroness Susan Greenfield will present at the HR Forum on Thursday November 23rd.

The HR Forum is organized by the Greek Personnel Management Association at the Sofitel Athens hotel.

Apart from her primary research where she heads a group of 18 scientists studying Parkinson and Alzheimer Disease, Professor Greenfield is fascinated by the physical basis of the mind. One of her great skills is to convey her passion about science, and particularly, her wonder at the complexity of the human brain, in a way that everyone can understand.

During her career Susan Greenfield received numerous awards and honours including the Faraday Medal from the Royal Society for making the most significant contribution in 1998 to the public understanding of science, as well as receiving the Woman of Distinction 1998 award from Jewish Care.

Susan Greenfield is the first female director of the 204year old Royal Institution of Great Britain and cofounder of two biotech startups that specialize in brain diseases. She has been awarded 28 Honorary degrees from British and foreign Universities and was a Forum Fellow at the World Economic Forum at Davos for 5 years.

She was included as one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Britain by the Guardian and Woman of the Year by the Observer.

At the HR Forum, Susan will talk about The Leaders of Tomorrow. How 21st Century Technological and Scientific Advances will Change the Way Leaders Need to Think and Act.
